HOLDFAST QUAYS MARINA!

The Holdfast Quays Marina Association comprises 145 Berths also located on the river side of the Patawalonga Basin between King Street Bridge and Cygnet Court.  Berths range in size from 8.5-metre double berths to 14-metre single berths. These berths are also a 50-year leasehold tenure.

Access to Holdfast Quays Marina is via a fully automated lock facility, which is remotely operated by the Boat captains. The locks constructed of reinforced concrete, is 25 metres long by six metres wide.  It can accommodate up to three vessels or one 20-metre long vessel requiring access to the slipway facility.

The Patawalonga Lake has a minimum water depth of 3.0 metres, the Outer Marina channel has 3.05 metres.

All Marina berths are powered and have water points connected. The marina pontoons were newly constructed by Bellingham Marine in June 2000 and as such there is minimal maintenance required thus keeping on-going costs to a minimum.

Additional facilities comprise both diesel and unleaded fuel and public berthing for overnight stays available from the Holdfast Shores Marina and Slipway facilities adjacent to the Holdfast Quays Marina.  The slipway, which has a capacity for boats up to 20 metres and 20 tonnes is fully EPA compliant and is operated by Glenelg Marine and Scuba.

Holdfast Quays Marina has a secure car park  fitted with electronic proximity card access. This Marina has a monitored colour closed circuit television security system providing the latest in marine security.  Boats can also be individually monitored with motion sensors similar to household alarms if required and at the cost of the boat owner.
